OCTOBER 2008 Lunch Meeting

Macs Old Team enjoyed a wonderful lunch at the beautiful Bevo Mill on Wed 8 Oct 2008. The Bevo is a little out of the way for the folks up north but a great fall day brought out 42 retirees and 24 wives/friends. A great time was had by all. If you haven't been to the Bevo for awhile it's worth the drive.

There were numerous door prize winners and the prizes varied from the usual golf balls to cups, glassware, Tee shirts and other useful items. The three husband/wife dual winners were Monika and Ken Showe, Kay and Phil Kempland and Diane and Ron Braunsreither. Congratulations.

We have a number of our teammates under going physical ailments. It was good to see Carl Scheske, Bob Skala and Rus Ramberger rejoin us after bouts with the surgeons. Bill Briggs just returned home after surgery and would welcome calls.

The November lunch will be on Wed the 12th at the Home Town Buffet in Chesterfield Valley.

On Dec 3 we will join with several other retiree groups for our annual Christmas lunch. This is always a wonderful time so put the date on your calendar. Watch the web page for more details.
